Man crushed to death under pickup truck in Galleria area

HOUSTON – Houston police are looking for a driver after a man was crushed to death under a pickup truck following an altercation in southwest of the Galleria area. 

Police said two men got into physical altercation in the 6300 block of Windswept Lane after a white Honda Civic was rear-ended by a Tundra truck.

As driver of the Tundra tried to leave from the scene, the Honda Civic driver jumped onto the side of the truck and continued fighting with the Tundra driver.

The Tundra driver sped off with the Civic driver holding onto the side and about 100 yards away, the driver of the Civic was crushed by the Tundra as it flipped on its side.

The driver of the Tundra fled the scene on foot.

At the time of the incident, victim’s pregnant wife was also present in the Civic. She remained unhurt in the incident.
