Two HPD officers involved in crash near Fondren

HOUSTON – Two Houston police officers escaped unhurt after they were involved in a crash in southwest Houston Tuesday night. 

Authorities said the officers were responding to a burglary call when they were struck by a silver car at the intersection of Fondren Road and Harwin Drive. 

The silver car crashed into the back of HPD Tahoe, causing the vehicle to spin out.

Luckily, no one was hurt in the crash. 

It is unclear if the silver car’s driver will face any charges.
