Woman injured in drive-by shooting in Redbud

HOUSTON – Police are looking for a suspect after a woman was injured in a drive-by shooting early Wednesday.

The shooting occurred around 1 a.m. at a home in the 4900 block of Redbud.

Lt. R. Willkens told the a 19-year-old woman, her boyfriend and their baby one-year-old son were in the bedroom when the gunfire began. 

Officers believe it was a targeted shooting as more than ten rounds were fired directly into their room.

Authorities are investigating the incident to determine motive of the shooting.
