Fire spreads from one home to another in NW Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY – Firefighters battled a fire that spread from one house to another in northeast Harris County early Friday. 

The fire was reported in the 6500 block of Vanlynn Lane around 12:40 a.m.

As firefighters arrived at the location, they saw a vacant house with fire showing through the roof.

The fire also spread to one neighbor’s house, however, all of the occupants inside that house were able to exit without any injuries.

Harris County Arson is investigating to determine cause of the fire
