Sleeping man struck by stray bullet at Park Place Boulevard

HOUSTON – A man was transported to the hospital after he was struck by a stray bullet in his bed early Thursday. 

The incident occurred at Villa Paree Apartments in the 7500 block of Park Place Boulevard around 2:44 a.m.

Police said the adult male was asleep when he woke up with a sharp pain to his arm. The victim then noticed he was shot in the arm.

He was transported the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigation is ongoing.
