Wanted man shot, killed by bounty hunter in west Harris County

HOUSTON – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting in west Harris County. 

The shooting happened in the 19300 block of Park Row Drive around 6:15 p.m. Monday.

A man with his girlfriend and their 3-month-old child inside the vehicle when a bounty hunter attempted to detain him.

Deputies said the deceased had outstanding charges for aggravated assault, family violence and was being taken into custody related to those charges.

No other injuries have been reported in the shooting.
