William and Kate generate green ideas with UK school children

Britain’s Duke and Duchess of Cambridge helped generate ideas on how to protect nature with school children in London on Wednesday (October 13) as part of an environmental campaign.

Prince William and his wife Kate attended the ‘Generation Earthshot’ event in Kew Gardens, where they were presented with innovative ideas and suggestions from children about how to repair the planet.

London mayor Sadiq Khan was also in attendance.

The event was held as part of the run up to the first ‘Earthshot Prize’ award ceremony – a scheme launched by Prince William and British naturalist David Attenborough.

The Earthshot Prize will be awarded to five winners annually between 2021 and 2030, who produce solutions to help the environment and galvanise change.
