Woman in critical condition after hit-and-run crash near Griggs Road

HOUSTON – Traffic is back to normal on all of the lanes of I-45 northbound on the Gulf Freeway after a deadly auto-pedestrian crash early morning. 

The crash was reported around 2:20 a.m. near Almeda Genoa.

Houston firefighters reported seeing someone running against the lanes of traffic when two vehicles struck him. 

All of the northbound/inbound lanes were reopened around 4:40 a.m. following an investigation into the crash.
