Man surrenders to police after shooting coworker

HOUSTON – A suspect has surrendered to police after shooting a man in the 6800 block of Ezzard Charles.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located a male with a gunshot wound. 

At the same time, a male approached officers and claimed to have shot the other male. He surrendered to officers and was cooperating.

As per initial information, both males are possibly coworkers and the shooting occurred during an argument over a paycheck.

Investigation is underway.
