HOUSTON – At least 2 people have been injured after some unknown suspects broke into a home and attacked them early Monday.
According to police, the incident was reported at 12:45 a.m. in the 2008 block of Arbor Road.
Arriving officers found a male in his 70s with a gunshot wound to the hand while another male, believed to be 29-year-old, was pistol whipped. Both were shifted to the hospital and are expected to survive.
Investigators told that three suspects wearing ski masks kicked in the door to the residence. At some point, the suspects fired a pistol and hit the male with the gun.
It was reported the suspects asked for a particular individual by his name. Once the suspects realized that person wasn’t there, they fled the scene.
