Fire damages 16 apartment units on W Airport Boulevard

HOUSTON – At least 16 apartment units have been damaged in a heavy fire in the 7800 block of W Airport Boulevard. 

Houston firefighters battled the flames for about an hour before tapping out the blaze.

Firefighters said 16 units were damaged by the fire, smoke and water.

Cause of fire will be investigated.
