Fire erupts at vacant house on Avenue J

HOUSTON – Firefighters responded quickly to extinguish fire at a house in the 6500 block of Avenue J early Wednesday. 

There was no one inside the house at the time of the incident. 

Reportedly, the family had moved out a month ago.

Cause of the fire could be electrical but arson unit will investigate to determine the cause.
