Fire damages strip center in Pasadena

HOUSTON – A heavy fire caused extensive damage at a strip mall in Pasadena early Monday.

Pasadena Fire Department crews arrived at 138 Fairmont Parkway after 2:00 a.m. and found at least one business engulfed in flames.

Crews immediately went defensive on the fire and requested mutual aid from the Houston Fire Department.

The building has suffered extensive damage and at least two other businesses have been affected by the smoke.

No one was hurt in the incident.
