Driver injured after car strikes power pole on Fry Road

HOUSTON – A driver got injured after his vehicle struck a power pole in the 3400 block of Fry Road early Wednesday.

Initially, HCSO deputies responded to reports of a roll-over crash with a pole down.

Arriving units located a male inside a BMW on its side. The male was helped out of the overturned vehicle and was transported to the Texas Medical Centre where he is expected to survive.

HCSO traffic unit said the driver did not appear to have been intoxicated.
