Pedestrian killed after being struck by 18-wheeler

HOUSTON – Police are investigating after a man was struck and killed by an 18-wheeler at S Sam Houston Parkway and South Post Oak Wednesday night.

Investigators told that a gas tanker truck was making a u-turn when a male stepped off the curb and was struck by the vehicle.

The driver mentioned the male was talking to himself and moved toward the truck.

The male was confirmed deceased at the scene.
