Rival Italian luxury labels Fendi and Versace have once again teamed up for a joint collection with a campaign led by Naomi Campbell.
The labels first announced they were teaming up last September and presented their first collection at Milan Fashion Week.
For their latest collection’s promo, Naomi Campbell is the bouncer checking names on the door of the ‘Fendace’ nightclub as supermodels including Adut Akech arrive to party, dressed head to toe in ‘Fendace’.
The joint capsule was again co-designed by Donatella Versace and Fendi’s creative directors Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini Fendi, a “swap” they said was born out of friendship and mutual professional respect.
The designers swapped roles to create each others’ clothes.
The collaboration – dubbed Fendace – brings together Fendi, which is part of Louis Vuitton owner LVMH’s stable, with Versace, which is owned by Capri Holdings, the U.S. firm that is also home to Michael Kors and Jimmy Choo.
“To me, Fendace will always mean love,” Versace said in a press release.
The latest collection launches on May 12.
