Woman dead, man in critical condition after motorcycle crash in SW Houston

HOUSTON – A woman is dead and a man is in critical condition after a fiery motorcycle crash in southwest Houston Monday morning.

The incident was reported around 3:00 am. HPD officers reached South Post Oak and found a motorcycle on fire with a male and female lying on the ground unresponsive.

The female was pronounced deceased at the scene while the male was moved to the hospital in critical condition.

Police told that it appeared both were traveling south and lost control, crashing into a sign and were thrown from their bike.

At some point the bike caught fire.

Officers don’t believe anyone else was involved in the crash.
