U.S. actor and UNHCR Special Envoy Angelina Jolie made a hasty retreat from a railway station in the Ukrainian city of Lviv Ukraine on Saturday (April 30), as sirens rang out.
Despite the sound of the sirens, some passers-by could not resist the opportunity to take a selfie of the actor, who continued at pace, while obligingly smiling for the camera. When asked, the Hollywood star said that she wasn’t afraid, telling people to ‘take care’ as she got into a waiting car.
Jolie, who is a special envoy for the United Nations Refugee Agency, had been visiting displaced children at the station before the sirens sounded.
