Man shot, killed in SW Houston

HOUSTON – Police are trying to piece together evidence after a man was shot and killed in southwest Houston early Tuesday.

The incident was reported in the 10900 block of South Gessner Road.

According to police, several witnesses heard the shooting but no one saw it take place. Police told that reports of multiple shots fired were consistent with the evidence found on the scene.

The victim was located in a stairwell of an apartment building, an HPD officer told.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call HPD or Crime Stoppers.
