One person dies in house fire in north Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY – At least one person died in house fire in north Harris County early Friday.

The incident happened around 2 a.m. in the 13900 block of Honey Bee CT.

Fire crews arrived at the location and found a 2-story residence with heavy fire on the first floor.

It was reported there was one person trapped inside of the residence. Fire crews first made entry but had to exit and attack the fire from the outside.

Meanwhile, the fire extended into the second floor.

Everyone made it out except one person who was later declared deceased at the scene.
