Shakira, Kylie and other music stars rock the Cannes red carpet on ‘Elvis’ day

Shakira, Kylie Minogue and Ricky Martin brought musical star power to the Cannes red carpet on Wednesday (May 25) as the Elvis biopic lead the ninth day of the festival’s premieres.

The singing stars all opted for black attire with the Colombian star in a long bustier paired with sheer gloves.

Italian rock group Maneskin, with lead singer Damiano David sporting Elvis earrings, also came to the Palais des Festivals for the premiere of Baz Luhrmann’s film.

The Australian director proudly showed off his large-buckled belt with the “Jailhouse Rock” singer’s name emblazoned on it.

Elvis Presley actor Austin Butler arrived with girlfriend, model Kaia Gerber, who wore a crimson, halter dress.

Actor Sharon Stone also chose to match the carpet in a diamond-encrusted, shimmering red look.

Former Victoria’s Secret models Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel were in attendance, with the former displaying her baby bump in a daring orange, embellished dress.

Fellow pregnant model Shanina Shaik dressed her bump more modestly and accessorised with a sparkly, silver choker.

The film festival ends on Saturday (May 28), when the winner of the illustrious Palme d’Or will be announced.
