HOUSTON – Police are looking for a suspect after three teenagers were shot while sitting on the curb outside an apartment complex in southeast Houston.
This happened at around 2:15 a.m. at 1221 Redford Street.
Police said one male victim between 12 to 13 years of age was shot in the chest. He was transported by ambulance in critical condition.
Another male victim between 13 to 15 years of age was shot in the thigh and back. Officers applied a tourniquet to his leg before the EMS arrived. He was transported by ambulance and is in stable condition.
The third male victim, 16, was able to run off and was picked up by private auto and self-transported to a hospital with gunshot wounds to the leg and foot.
Motive of the shooting is being investigated.
