Man found shot in the head in SE Houston

HOUSTON – A man was rushed to the hospital in critical condition after police said he was found shot in the head in southeast Houston.

The incident was reported in the 4800 block of Jarmese Street at around 12:20 a.m.

Arriving officers were met by a male who claimed that his roommate was just shot in the room. Officers located the adult male with a gunshot wound to the head.

He was transported by ambulance in critical condition.

A firearm was located in the room along with a note on the front door. Authorities believe the incident is suspicious.
The roommate is cooperating with authorities.
