HARRIS COUNTY – The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accidental shooting of a 15-year-old Wednesday night.
The incident was reported on Oakendell Drive near Blueberry Hill.
Deputies were told that the teen managed to gain access to his father’s pistol and accidentally shot himself in the leg.
CY Fair Fire Department has transported the teen to a nearby trauma center in stable condition.
