BakerRipley distributes the first batch of $1,200 checks to families

AUSTIN, TX - Mayor Sylvester Turner announced that BakerRipley, the community nonprofit administering the COVID-19 assistant program funds, sent out the first 2,355 checks on Friday, representing about $2.8 million of the assistance.
